WHY THIS GATHERING?
because we need more reminders that
we are safe havens.
We are more than our traumas, our roles, and the expectations that our families, our culture, and society have placed on us.
Sometimes these messages can be difficult to take in. We need each other to remind us of our birthright...
We are complete.
We have innate resources.
We are capable and strong.
We are our own places of REFUGE.
who is this for?
WOMEN.
This month-long gathering is for us
It's an online gathering for women by women.
It's a convening where we come together to be inspired, to learn from each other, to share our collective wisdom.
Together with amazing guides, women like you that I love and respect, we will share our favourite practices on “Reclaiming Ourselves as Safe Havens". Each weekday for the month of July, there will be a live session where a story and a practice will be shared. This will happen in different times to cater to various time zones.
Weekends are integration days, a way to process and synthesize what we have learned from each other.

“Long before God the Father, there she was – God the Mother. Where did she vanish to, this great mother goddess? How did we women become so completely dispossessed? It wasn’t that I wanted to replace a male god with a female god; it wasn’t that I wanted to find a religion at all. I was simply looking for some sense that women might have worth. And I found it: there in the old stories of my own native land, I found it. Filled with images of women creating, women weaving the world into being, I took up knitting. Thread by thread, stitch by stitch, I began to knit myself back into being. I had never thought of myself as being a particularly creative soul, but I discovered that creativity was a wide-ranging affair. I simply thought about what brought me joy, and I began to cultivate it. I dug my hands into this strange foreign soil, and I began to grow things. I began to reacquaint myself with the soft animal object that was my body. Slowly, spending more and more time outside, focusing on the wisdom of my senses rather than on what was going on inside my head, I began to weave myself back into the fabric of the Earth.”

“Love Letters to Your Inner Monsters”
July 16, 12:00-13:00 CET
Together, we will explore what Kai Cheng Thom labeled monsters or shadows. Monsters help and hinder us from creating true inclusion. The purpose of this hour together is to bring more care, curiosity, and compassion to monsters so that we can feel at ease with them inside of us and in the world.
Our exploration:
1. Meet your monster with grounding and curiosity.
2. Explore how your monsters show up inside and outside.
3. Write a Love Letter to Your Monsters.
4. Explore what has changed in you and how that could impact your daily life.
